A little-known footpath leads to one of Mexico's most famous landmarks
For a true walk on Cabo’s wild side, leave the club scene behind and lace up your walking shoes. From the Grand Solmar Resort, a small trail leads up and over the Cape’s rocky spine, then follows a boulder-strewn shore that leads to Lover’s Beach.
Scrambling across the rocks isn’t for everyone, and yes, it would be easier to take a water taxi from the marina. But by following the path less taken, you’ll enjoy a rare bit of scenic solitude with nary a beach bar in sight.
To complete the adventure, keep going east past Lover’s Beach, as the trail continues all the way to El Arco, Cabo’s famous stone arch at Land’s End. And if the sun and sea rob your ambition for a return hike, you can always catch a boat ride back to town.
